In the middle of last week, we decided to go on a three-day trip to recharge during the remaining sunny days in the small town of Bajčići, located on the island of Krk. To start, we settled into the "House Jerini" estate, which is an ideal destination for recharging batteries.
Day One — Adventure Park
We spent our first day at an adventure park where we had fun with paintball, go-karting, climbing, and many other sports activities that further strengthened our team spirit. We saved the evening for socializing with a presentation through which we defined our new business goals and projects, and later continued enjoying good music and trying local Lika specialties that delighted us.
Day Two — Željava Airbase and Plitvice
First thing in the morning, we headed with a guide to the Željava airbase and toured the tunnels that were built in the shape of aircraft and once served as soldier quarters. We also drove down the runway. After a detailed tour of the airbase, we went to a viewpoint that provided an unforgettable view of the Great Waterfall of the Plitvice Lakes, and not far from the viewpoint, in the heart of the Plitvice Lakes National Park, sits Vila Izvor, better known as Tito's Villa, which he had built.
Day Three — Zipline
For the grand finale, we chose ziplining and had the opportunity to fly above Croatia's most beautiful landscapes!
